Thank you for the feedback and comments that you have provided to the draft NRM Strategy for Southern Tasmania. NRM South has received comment from a broad range of stakeholders and community including indigenous representations, local, state and federal governments, industry, primary producers, researchers, NGO’s and more! The feedback and comments provided will help shape a more robust and responsive strategy for the community.

This has been the final consultation process and once again NRM South appreciates all of the input that has been volunteered throughout the planning period. Once the feedback has been assessed, relevant suggestions and edits will be considered and included where appropriate. It is anticipated that a final draft NRM Strategy for Southern Tasmania will be approved by the NRM South Board and subsequently presented to the Tasmanian Government for accreditation under the Natural Resource Management Act 2002 by late November.

All feedback is considered useful and valuable, even if the specific details are not included in the final Strategy.

Thank you again for your interest in the NRM Strategy and supporting this valuable work.

    • It might be your favourite place to go for a family holiday.
    • It might be where you take visitors when they come to visit.
    • It might be where you go to find some quiet.
    • It might be about what make your farm so great.
